I have now posted new pics, I know I'm slow but it takes a lot of time I don't have :)
I have covered from mostly May till now. Lucas started walking in April, around 16 months old, Abagail graduated pre k in May and Katelyn graduated elementary school.
We have already finished one summer month, though I'm not sure where it went (mainly to the park I think) and we are back to an abreviated school time during the summer.
Katelyn will start middle school in August in a self contained special ed class with a great teacher, we are really excited and sad at the same time, she's almost 12.
Arthur will start 4th grade and will still be homeschooled, he's looking forward to something other than early American history which is what we did this year.
Solomon is going in to 2nd grade and is now ready really well and just finished his last math page till August.
Abagail will start kindergarten in August here at home, she has some books now to review letters and numbers and loves to "do her work" while her brothers work.
Lucas is walking, starting to run, climbing, and just this past week started talking up a storm. Tonight he was naming colors of the fireworks "boo, geen, and lellow" and he was naming them correctly but liked "boo" the best :)
Colin is gearing up for a change in jobs from a small shop to a large corperation. We are hoping for a more broad job and just more training in painting really.
I'm looking forward to another school year, another month of a great summer break, and the opportunity to keep seeing my children grow closer to the Lord, that has to be the best thing out there.
On the animal front (a big part of our lives) we now have 8 chickens, two of each type Rhode Island Red, White Leghorn, a Golden and a Silver Wyandotte, and Ameriucana. The first two lay now, about an egg a day each, the latter four don't lay yet, in another month the Wyandottes will start and then in another month after that the Ameriucanas. We got rid of our two fish, gave them away. A friend was trying to find her dachshund a new home and I was willing to foster and we fell in love. Emmy is now housetrained, so sweet with the kids, and mostly well behaved (she seems to like to eat the pink feathers from Abagail's boa but not destroy the boa Abagail already did that) but she still likes to bark at her reflection in the sliding glass door.
SO, that's our update.
I'm sure I'll post more pics sometime in..... September maybe? If not I'm sure I'll post costumes come October!!!

Hey, It's Jan...

Great pictures of the kids. I can't believe how much Solomon looks like you, and how much Lucas looks like his dad! All the kids are just beautiful. Anyway, just wanted to say Hi! If you track me back to my blog, it is mostly fiber stuff, but there is a little bit of homeschooling and some pictures of the kids on there too.
